Your trainer will be your coach, teacher and motivator. It is your personal trainer's job to assess your current physical and mental state, establish very specific goals, design an individualised program, and do what ever it takes to keep you on track towards getting results.
Yes. A trainer can help you to lose weight (and manage your weight). However, personal training is about a lot more than just weight loss. Our trainers work with you to improve your overall fitness, flexibility, strength and stability.
Prior to starting your training, we will do a detailed health, lifestyle and goals assessment with you. We’ll also get to know what you like (and dislike) and what motivates you to succeed. Your programme will reflect your needs and will evolve overtime as you reach various milestones.
We understand that a big hurdle for a lot of people is overcoming boredom while doing cardio. We recommend doing a combination of activities such as running, cycling and swimming (all of which can be done either indoor or outdoor). We also find circuit training to be very effective and as its high intensity, it’s a great way to increase your overall fitness.
Nutrition cannot be ignored and a balanced diet plays an important role in your fitness programme. Our nutritionists offer guidance and can provide you with a tailored plan to compliment your training.

As everyone is different - results will vary. However, generally after six weeks, you will start to notice a change. To maximise on results a healthy eating plan must be followed.
It is essential to wear clothing that you are comfortable in (ideally specialist gym clothing), running shoes and a sports bra (for the ladies). You should also remove jewellery.
A bottle of water and a towel and the determination to work hard!
The number of sessions you book initially will depend on your individual programme. However, we recommend that our clients book a minimum of 10 sessions. Our costs vary dependent on how we structure our sessions, for example a block of ten 90 minute sessions will obviously be more expensive than a block of 10 one hour sessions. Following your consultation, we will work with you to devise your programme and the associated costing structure.
